There has been some deafening silence around the ole blogspot as of late. You can see tumbleweeds blowing across some pages. Somewhere in the start of March everyone jumped ship for Facebook. Sadly, myself included. I am hoping, however, to keep a foot in each ship. Facebook is good for when I'm lazy, but I don't want to give up the blog yet.

I had intended to write this a week ago before going on vacation, but ended up getting quite sick (severe and unrelenting acid indigestion for 5 days?? wtf). Therefor this post is being back dated.

So this is what is new...Jack and I went on a 5 day excursion to New York City. We did not bring even one computer with us...probably the first time in years either of us spent 5 days without a computer. So I'm going to catch you all up on the details now, back dating the events to real time.
